Dance to electronic music on small stages in decorated woodland
Wilde Möhre is near Drebkau in Lower Lusatia; the organiser lists around 7,000 guests. Small stages and clearings spread electronic music through the forest; in 2026 there were twelve floors for music, workshops, talks and theatre.
According to the organiser, 2026 was the final festival in its previous format because the community, cultural landscape and site are changing fundamentally. Wilde Möhre mit Freude has been announced, with further formats on the site.
Two guests described the campsite separated from the festival grounds as good for sleeping in 2018 and 2022.
Check first
- Plan both journeys: in 2026 the train route went via Calau; the shuttle to the site was booked in the ticket shop, with a fixed time slot only for the outward trip. A guest described departure in 2026 as a scramble for too few shuttle places.
- For 2026 the organiser specified free child admission up to the thirteenth birthday and recommended hearing protection.
Moments
- A visitor played the forest escape game “Island of Lost Dreams” with her group in 2017; after an hour and a half they opened a chest and stood before “graves of lost dreams”.
Right for you
- If workshops between sets appeal to you: guests praised the many workshops in 2018, 2022 and 2024; the 2026 programme included making LED jewellery, rainsticks and festival fans.
Good to know
- According to the organiser, only vegetarian and vegan food was available in 2026, with free drinking water at all times; payment on site was only by debit or credit card.
- In 2024 several people sought companions for Wilde Möhre on the Festival Community forum; a participant set up a Telegram group for solo travellers.
- One guest found food stalls overloaded in 2024; another reported long queues at night in 2023. A visitor instead barely had to wait for food and drinks in 2022.
- A visitor found food prices fair in 2022; a first-time guest placed them in the middle range in 2025 and praised the food as plentiful and tasty.
- Guests wanted more showers at the campsite in 2023 and 2024; one guest found only one shower container in 2024 and could not shower there. Another found the shower and toilet queues short in 2024.
