STROOM 2027

STROOM 2027: 7 acts, 25 Jun 2027, Berlare. Line-up, timetable and a plan with your crew – free, no ads.

Line-up

Not a festival site but a river: every concert finds its own spot on the Scheldt, in 2026 even a raft in the middle of the water.

  • Free riverside concerts
  • By ferry, water bus or bike
  • Abbey, fort and castle garden

In 2026, STROOM spent eleven days moving through the Scheldt valley between Ghent and Antwerp, across 16 municipalities. The premiere took place in a hangar in Dendermonde in front of around 800 people; in Antwerp there were sunset concerts on the quays.

The bill features choirs, a baroque orchestra, a quartet and small ensembles; behind it is Gent Festival van Vlaanderen. In between, a boat moors at a different jetty each day, with the tides deciding when – picnics are allowed there, it doesn’t have to be completely quiet, and you can leave whenever you like.

Check first

  • You buy tickets for each concert separately, with no exchanges or refunds; remaining tickets are sold at the box office 45 minutes before the start. Outdoors, the weather has a say: in 2026, two riverside concerts were cancelled because of the heat and another moved into a hall – and not every venue is wheelchair accessible.

Right for you

  • If your crew is after music in unusual places, ideally with a picnic by the river, and parents or kids are coming along too. If you want a weekend in a tent, this isn’t it: STROOM is a series of individual concerts, and camping isn’t mentioned anywhere.
