San Hejmo comes from the same organiser as Parookaville and takes place on the same former military airfield, but sees itself as a show of music, art and culture. Around 70 percent of tickets are bought by women, the crowd is young, and guests and police alike describe the atmosphere as peaceful.
Since 2022 it has grown from 20,000 to 75,000 guests. Between concerts you can sit on red velvet chairs in front of the comedy stage or ride the Ferris wheel; after 3 am the party carries on in camp. In August the sun beats down on the airfield, and in 2026 it hit almost 38 °C.

Check first
- By car you risk hours in traffic and long walks from the car park; it's more relaxed by train and shuttle from Weeze. The site mainly has portable toilets, which get filthy fast in the heat.
- Food and drinks are expensive and sometimes sold out in the evening, and you can only pay by wristband. For quiet there's the Green Camp, for crews of eight or more the Friendship Camp; entry is 18+.
