Rock for People has been at home on the former airfield in Hradec Králové since 2007; in 2026 it had ten stages and Iron Maiden on a fifth, extra day. What makes it different happens between the concerts: the hangars offer shade and beer in glass mugs, the bunkers hold gaming zones, and there’s circus, slam poetry and panel talks on top. Even on day five, it doesn’t get boring.
Most of the crowd is between 18 and 35, but not all of it: in 2026, Maiden fans over sixty headbanged to Scene Queen, and since 2009 buses have brought senior citizens from the city to selected concerts. In 2026 it rained for days and parts of the site turned into a mud obstacle course – it still stayed clean and well organised.
