Concerts right by the sea

Primavera Sound in Barcelona, Spain, fills the seaside Parc del Fòrum with pop, indie rock and other genres. The organiser lists seventeen stages for 2026; guests describe concerts until sunrise.

Concerts at the Cupra stage can be watched from the steps; a regular rests there, and a first-time visitor compared it to a club in an amphitheatre in 2025.

Check first

  • Plan accommodation and your return together: TRAM announced continuous T4 tram service for 2026; the organiser requires booking the paid shuttle to Plaça Catalunya through the AccessTicket app.
  • The organiser offers children aged twelve and under a free ticket for 2027 if their accompanying adult has bought a ticket and places remain available.

Moments

  • In 2025 a first-time visitor left the Fòrum after Armand Van Helden at seven in the morning and called it a surreal highlight.

Good to know

  • In 2025 one guest found evening refill queues too long, another found all nearby bars closed after Charli XCX, and a third waited only a few minutes at the Warehouse and VIP entrance water points. A guest praises free refill points in 2026.
  • A solo traveller praised Barcelona’s welcome in 2025 but found no one to talk to at the festival itself.
  • Food experiences differed in 2025: one guest found quality worse than before, another praised the food. A first-time visitor found food and drink reasonably priced compared with British festivals.
  • On 4 June 2026 a visitor says she waited soaked for hours for information about cancelled concerts; another guest was denied entry in the rain on the first day. Another criticised conflicting weather communication.
