Line-up

Techno in front of the castle façade, and by the third evening there's still hardly any litter on the grass.

  • Fully plant-based food
  • Free shuttle from Vilvoorde station
  • Angels of Paradise in pink vests

Paradise City is the electronic festival for Brussels and the area around it: three days of DJ sets in the grounds of Ribaucourt Castle, among a pond, old trees and drawbridges. Seven stages sit close together: one under the trees, one on the water, a round two-level wooden structure, and in front of the Barefoot Stage you dance shoeless in the sand. The real star is the setting, right up to the sunset behind the castle.

Green isn't just a label here: no single-use plastic, power from the floating solar array on the pond, and the top rating from A Greener Festival six times in a row. That comes with a strict set of rules, from the drug ban to cashless payment. If you're after an underground, ecstatic party, you may find the music too polished at times and the crowd chatting more than dancing.

Check first

  • The camp next to the site is small and sold out in under 30 minutes in 2026; breakfast is included, with a morning rave at the coffee stand on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Searches at the entrance are thorough, and the police hand out on-the-spot fines when drugs are found. Plan your way home around the night trains from Vilvoorde: in 2026 the last one left at 2:30 am on Fridays and Saturdays and at 12:20 am on Sundays.

Right for you

  • For crews who'd rather hear electronic music in a park than in a club, value clean toilets and like things civilised rather than wild.
