Line-up

Hardly anyone waits at the bar here – the only queue you’ll join is the presale.

  • Two stages taking turns
  • Regulars for years
  • Kids up to ten go free

Since its beginnings in 2004, this festival has made a June weekend its own in Palencia – the whole town. By day, bands play for free on the squares of the old town, with vermouth, local tapas and folk dancing with choirs. In the evening everyone heads to Parque del Sotillo on the Río Carrión, ten minutes from the centre: trees, grass, food trucks, and on La Isla DJs play deep into the night.

The bill features Spanish indie such as Xoel López, Siloé and Sexy Zebras, yet many buy their pass blind, more for the atmosphere than for the bands. People come from Madrid and Valladolid, Palencians who moved away come home, and families party alongside groups of friends of every age. What guests praise again and again: no crush, clean toilets, fair prices at the bar.

Check first

  • Be in the virtual queue on time on presale day: the 2027 passes were gone in under an hour, and the organiser does not take back tickets once bought. Pack a warm jacket, as nights get cold and there is no cloakroom; book your room early, the hotels are full.

Right for you

  • You want a relaxed city weekend with Spanish indie, vermouth in the midday sun and a mosh pit in the evening, and how it feels matters more to you than who is playing.
