Øyafestivalen 2026

Øyafestivalen 2026: 104 acts, 12 Aug 2026 – 15 Aug 2026, Oslo. Line-up, timetable and a plan with your crew – free, no ads.

Line-up

At eleven the park closes, and Oslo moves on to the clubs.

  • Reusable cups at every bar
  • Organic food, no meat
  • Ramps at every large stage

Øya is Oslo's summer festival: four days in Tøyen Park, 400 metres from the metro, next to the old Munch Museum. No tents, no parking, and three in four guests come from Oslo and the surrounding area. The stages are a few minutes' walk apart and rarely play at the same time; at the Amfiet stage you watch from a grassy slope.

The line-up puts international stars next to Norwegian bands just starting out; roughly half the acts are women artists or bands with women in them. The crowd is polite and fairly grown-up, would rather nod along than mosh, and likes to keep talking loudly during sets. When a mosh pit does open up, punks hold lost phones up afterwards until everything is back with its owner.

Check first

  • Bring ID, a bank card and a rain jacket: payment is card only, umbrellas and your own food other than snacks and baby food stay outside, and the park gets muddy when it showers. The festival pass can't be split into day tickets, and beer and food are expensive. Since 2025, groups have protested at the entrance against the investor behind the festival.

Right for you

  • For crews with a bed in Oslo who want good bands without crushes or planning stress and head on to a club at night. If you want camp nights or a mosh pit in every row, this isn't for you.
