Line-up
The bands play on the terrace of a villa; the tents stand a few hundred metres away on the meadow by the Weser.

OBS is a garden party for people who want to hear bands they don't know yet. Around 30 bands over three days, from folk to punk, spread across two stages that take turns: you never have to choose between two gigs. By half past eleven the garden is already full; at the front people listen, the chatting happens at the back by the food. The festival boss personally introduces every band on the big stage.
At midnight it's over, as the authorities require. Anyone who wants to keep partying heads to the Stadtkrug in town, and the tent meadow by the Weser goes quiet. Greying regulars who have been coming for over twenty years stand next to younger groups of friends and music nerds, and first-timers wonder why they didn't come sooner.

- You pay cash at all food and drink stalls, and rooms in town are booked out over the festival.
- Without a car: in 2026 a free shuttle ran from Lauenförde-Beverungen station for the first time; otherwise no buses run over the Whitsun holidays.
Right for you
- For crews who are happy to take a chance on bands they've never heard of and would rather sleep at night than party till dawn. If you want to dance until morning, you'll find that at the Stadtkrug, not on the site.
