DESTINATION NIBIRII FESTIVAL 2026

The pyramid stands in the sand by the lake, and the lights go out at 1 am, at 10 pm on Sundays: here you rave from midday into the night, not until morning.

• Swimming in the lake
• Stages in the woods
• Cashless with a chip on your wristband

Nibirii grew out of a party series at Bootshaus in Cologne and within a few years went from a one-day rave with 15,000 guests to a weekend with around 60,000; in 2026 it sold out a week in advance. The main stage stands right on the beach of the swimming lake in Düren and is a Maya pyramid every year. The Unreal Stage plays techno to hard techno, the Lagoon on the beach house and trance.

The rhythm is that of a big daytime rave: from 2 pm on Friday, from midday at the weekend, ending at 1 am, at 10 pm on Sunday. In 2022 the finish was brought forward from 3 am to 1 am after complaints from neighbours; at camp, quiet hours start at 10 pm, and the partying there happens on headphones at the silent disco.

Focus on raving, plus swimming, silent disco and fireworks. As of 2026

Check first

• If you’re camping as a crew, come early: pitches are allocated on arrival, you can’t reserve, sleeping is in tents only, and cars stay in the separate car park. There’s hardly any shelter, and in 2024 the Saturday was cancelled because of a severe storm and the site was cleared.

Right for you

• You want to dance for three days between sand, woods and lake and don’t need a night that runs until morning. Everyone in your crew must be 18; there are no exceptions.
