Mystic packs metal of every heaviness onto one site: Megadeth and Behemoth on the main stage, alongside black metal, stoner and drone jazz. More than 90 bands play on five stages until 1:30 am, a lot of it at the same time, and between two sets you’ll often find your new favourite band. The indoor stages turn into a sauna, and when a set is packed you’ll barely get through the door.
In 2026 it all still took place at the old Gdańsk Shipyard, with the main stage right under a crane. Between concerts you play games on CRT TVs, watch VHS films or listen to musicians at talks; in front of the stages, veterans over fifty stand next to teenagers at their first festival.

Check first
- There was no camping in 2025 and 2026, so book a bed early in Gdańsk, Sopot or Gdynia along the local train line; in 2027 the festival moves from the shipyard to Polsat Plus Arena in Letnica. 2026 was sold out and getting between the stages was slow; pack earplugs and a warm jacket for the night, and at the bars you can only pay cashless.
