Line-up

Dancing right in Hamburg's port while cargo ships glide past behind the stage.

  • Glitter and colourful outfits
  • Into the port without a car
  • Quiet awareness area

Dockville is Hamburg's young city festival on an industrial site in the Wilhelmsburg port area: 20,000 to 25,000 people a day, indie, pop, rap and electronic music on around ten stages. The big stages stand on the meadow, the best ones are hidden: in wooden huts in the bushes, in caravans and containers, between trees, and down at the Klüse by the water hard electronic music runs until late. In between stand more than 50 artworks, during the day there are readings, poetry slam, screen printing and rave aerobics, and many come more for the setting and the atmosphere than for the line-up.

The crowd is young, colourful and friendly, the queer community feels welcome here, and it's more about art and good vibes than drinking. It has got smaller: since 2025 the festival has lasted just two days, and global stars like Billie Eilish in 2019 are currently no longer on the line-up.

Check first

  • No one under twelve gets onto the site, up to 15 only with a parent, guardian or adult authorised by them, and from 16 you can stay on your own until midnight.
  • Camping isn't included in the ticket but is an add-on, and the campsite only opens on Friday morning. From Wilhelmsburg S-Bahn station you walk 15 to 20 minutes, the night shuttle back costs extra, and the maze-like site adds up to a lot of steps.

Right for you

  • For crews who would rather drift between art, hidden stages and hammocks than tick off headliners.
