Moyn was small, non-commercial and lovingly built down to the last corner: electronic music across its many styles, in a farmer's field near Oyten. In 2018 one stage sat inside an aircraft engine; most recently the Playground belonged to Bremen's techno scene. Next to it lay the village, with workshops, yoga, talks and a period tent with hot-water bottles and tea.
You could come alone and quickly belong, and many came back every year. Last time, police put the crowd at around 10,000, almost four times as many as the first time, and some found the small floors too crowded.
