Feel is the big rave at Bergheider See: 15,000 to 20,000 people, 17 stages from more than 40 collectives and four days when the bass never stops. You dance by the water and in the woods, and you only find out who’s playing at the gate. Most floors run fast techno through to trance, with rap and a few bands in between.
Compared with Fusion, Feel comes across as the younger sister: similar music, similar decor, but smaller and with more beer and phones on the dancefloor. You can pitch your tent almost anywhere, even right next to the floor, and that makes it close, wild and loud. People who’ve come for years miss stages and attention to detail; newcomers often head home thrilled.

- Expect queues at the entrance, at the showers and when getting your waste deposit back, and too few drinking-water points near the stages. Entry is 18+ only, and the iron-rich lake stains light-coloured swimwear red.
