From Wednesday to Friday, Eurosonic spreads across the city centre: in 2026, almost 300 bands from 39 countries played on 18 stages, and in 2020 even in a snooker hall and a student club. The music industry is often standing next to you in the room, looking for who’s next; in 2026 that meant over 4,000 professionals.
On Saturday the festival flips: most of the international professionals leave, and Noorderslag fills De Oosterpoort with bands from the Netherlands, broadcast live on TV in 2026 and with the Popprijs award ceremony. Then it gets packed and loud: in 2020 the crowd surged forward for Pip Blom, and in 2024 the Popprijs winner’s set ended in a circle pit.

- On 10 October 2026, passes for all days of 2027 were gone, day tickets not yet; sold-out tickets are only resold through the official resale platform. Beds in the city go fast and are expensive, so look in nearby towns with bus or train links too; for the halls on Saturday: arrive early or you’ll queue.
