Bucht der Träumer is a rave for people who don’t come for a name. On a flooded former open-pit mine an hour east of Berlin, the floors stand in pine forest, with speaker stacks as tall as the trees and lights that cast a spell on the trees at night. The music is techno and house from the Berlin club scene, much of it unhurried, plus a corner for psytrance.
What sets it apart is the other half of the site: Lumina runs dozens of workshops, from human rights to creative writing, the circus tent hosts cabaret and drag, and at the Sektamt you earn your sparkling wine with forms and stamps. People who come once often come back.

Check first
- Regular festival entry is 21+; children up to 12 may visit Lumina during the day accompanied by adults. Regular tickets were gone by July in both 2025 and 2026, and they can’t be returned. Swimming in Helenesee is banned at the festival site; a little further east, a section of the eastern shore is open for swimming. Leave grills and stoves at home because of the forest fire risk, and expect thorough police checks on the way in.
