BitterSweet is Poznań's young pop festival, running since 2025: three August days in Citadel Park with Robbie Williams, Lorde, Gorillaz or Post Malone, and hits your parents sing along to as well. The main field is the hill in front of the big stage, and the stars come close: Post Malone and Nelly Furtado walked along the barrier, Twenty One Pilots played right in the middle of the crowd.
The catch came with success: already its second edition, in 2026, sold out, and for many the park was far too full. In the narrow avenues people could at times only move in one direction, one guest needed twenty minutes instead of six between the big stages, and on the hot Saturday the water ran out in the evening. After the first day, more signs, stewards and toilets were added.

Check first
- There's no camping in the park; it's at the camp by Lake Strzeszyńskie, with a shuttle. Beds in Poznań get expensive, so commenters recommend Gniezno, with a direct train to Poznań Garbary next to the site. You can only bring food if you have a medically certified special diet; water, according to the info page, in one factory-sealed half-litre bottle, and in 2026 two were later allowed. The Citadel is also a memorial site with a military cemetery.

- You want to see the summer's big pop names up close and sing every line, so you're already at the barrier during the set before. If you need plenty of space, quiet corners and quick routes between the stages, you'll run into the park's limits here.
