Best Kept Secret is for people with a packed schedule of their own who spend all day moving between stages. The top of the bill has names like Radiohead, Nick Cave or Gorillaz, but the strongest moments often come from bands nobody knew. The Casbah gets a mosh pit; during quiet sets it is dead silent right at the front – further back, people like to chat.

The site is woodland, dunes and lakeshore: shade under the trees at midday, a lit-up forest in the evening, with the occasional souped-up lawnmower rolling through. The crowd skews older than elsewhere and often speaks Flemish; after the last bands, DJ sets run until four. 2026 was the busiest edition yet, neighbouring stages bled into quiet concerts, and some regulars have had enough.

  • From the car park to the campsite you haul your gear over a bridge, stairs and sand, and on Fridays the journey in can take hours: bring a trolley or take the shuttle from Tilburg. Payment is by card or phone only, and resale only through the official ticket exchange.
