Four nights of electronic music among the blast furnaces and chimneys of a disused ironworks, right in the middle of Ostrava.

What sets Beats for Love apart from other big electronic music festivals is the setting: 18 stages are spread across the Dolní Vítkovice industrial monument, lasers paint patterns on the chimneys, and the drum and bass area glows red beneath the blast furnaces. On top of that, flames, confetti and fireworks go off at the main stage.

The top of the line-up has global stars from David Guetta to Calvin Harris, while drum and bass, techno, trance, hardstyle and psytrance get stages of their own. The party comes with local pride: DJs mix Czech classics such as Karel Gott into their sets, and the crowd is mostly Czech, from teenagers to older guests, some in metal shirts.

Check first

  • When big names play the smaller stages, especially drum and bass and hardstyle, it gets so packed you can barely get through.
  • Entry from age 15, under-18s only with an adult; every ticket is tied to a personal LoveID with a photo. The photo is checked on re-entry, and one guest couldn't get back in despite their wristband.
  • Umbrellas are banned, so pack a poncho: in 2022 heavy rain stopped the music on all stages, and in 2026 a thunderstorm on the first day drove the crowd under tents and roofs.
