- MAYO
This is where Spain spends its first festival summer: a tent by the beach, hits to sing along to, and no sleep until you’re back home.
- Pool at the Beach Club
- Clandestine Sound
- The Sounders
The crowd is young, mostly between 18 and 25; if you’re in your mid-twenties, you’ll hardly meet anyone older here. On stage are Spain’s pop and urban stars, from Aitana to Bad Gyal, and thousands sing along to every line. For many, the camp matters more than the stage: tent after tent of groups from Murcia, Asturias or Bilbao.
The heat sets the pace: from ten in the morning your tent is a sauna, so people escape to the beach, under the ice-cold showers or into the shade of the few trees. Between the last DJ and the sun on the tent roof there are about five hours of quiet. Even so, hardly anyone wants to leave on the last day.

Check first
- Arenal A and B are five minutes from the stage and the beach; Malvarrosa is dusty, in an orange grove, 15 to 25 minutes’ walk away. The wristbands keep the camping areas separate, so book the same one as a crew.
- Shade is scarce: tarps and spots under trees are gone on the first morning, so arrive early, together and with your own shade sail.
Right for you
- You’re around 20, coming as a group of friends, and want to sing along, meet new people and sleep little. If you’re after indie discoveries or plenty of sleep, this is the wrong place for you.
